Simply phenomenal, Berrypatch! You even did the backwards vocals. You are a fastidious dude.

To be honest, you kind of slipped in during one of my Songcrafter blackout periods. I didn't really give you much attention. I was like, Bluesberry's kid. That's nice. It wasn't way until "Approaching Neptune" that sat up and said, Holy shit!

When I first saw this post this morning, on my phone, I knew it was going to be good. So I waited until I had headphones over my ears. It was worth the wait. I expected it to be good, but it's even better.

The bass, guitars, and vocals are spot on, especially those backing vocals and harmonies!!!! The bass really has the Macca phrasing and tone. The guitars sound like George and John...clear, bright and ringing out. I love the details here and the true to the original sound/mix. Ringo nailed the drums, lol. Bravo BerryPatch!

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

Top class post, loving the vocals but everything sounds great to me.   Willie

This is a fantastic cover! The instrument sounds are perfect, especially that bass. Nailed the vocals as well.
Hope Ringo doesn't demand too much in royalties.  :)
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

Hi Cuthbert! The way I got my sound was largely with the Deco pedal, plugged into my Blues Junior amp. My deco is a newer version with a tone knob so I increased almost all the way to the top with the "saturation" halfway and the doubletrack section just slightly engaged with a bit of wobble on it. In garageband I increased the treble even more on the two guitar tracks and cut the lower bass frequencies. The final thing I did was during mastering, I added compression to the track and boosted the mids. Boosting the mids REALLY gave it that revolver vibe interestingly...

Thanks for the technical details, Keith - very interesting! Looking over the V2 Deco pedal - man, that's got some cool controls. Almost looks like ADT (automatic-double tracking) in a single pedal.

That was an absolutely satisfying cover.  So many things were perfectly executed and made it such pleasant ear candy.  Thank you!
