Absolutely class John! That slap bass grooves real well and the songwriting is wonderful and the track reaches a great climax. Very good stuff!

I like the rhythm a lot, you create a cool backdrop. And the horns are a tasty touch. I like how you've used/not used rhyme in the lyric. I think I like the use of questions in your lyric the most, though. The way you create a message and a feeling by merely asking. I have to put that in my back pocket to try out sometime.

That synthetic slapbass sound is such defining musical element that it can only be used boldly, or just left alone.

I like what you're doing here. Building the complex arrangement with sparse instrumentation and letting it grow fuller. The horns works a treat adding a cinematic feel to the song. The icing of the cake are of course those JohnBee vocals and lyrics that make you think.

Heavy on melodies, complex structures and syncopation yet easy to access.
