Haven't shared anything new in a while.  This is a simple, short, acoustic folk ballad about finding everlasting love. Song is only 2 min long (probably because I'm not a subject matter expert)  :)   Song is picked in DADGAD tuning.

Evermore  words & music: Vance Grazio     ©2022

Sometimes we watch love slip right through our fingers
Or we never love at all
When I thought the chance at love was gone forever
I found you

Sometimes love is insecure and fleeting
Or not given in return
When I stepped beyond my fear and trepidation
I found you
And I loved you

One of spirit, heart and mind in all its glory
Catch me if I fall
Open up your heart to the gift you've been given
When, love calls

If our love is truly meant to last forever
Through to the other side
However it exists beyond the earth and heavens
I'll find you
And I'll love you.....evermore

"Play because you love it. Don't worry about if it will ever make any money, just understand that playing is an end in itself, and you play music, it will make your life better. And, don't worry about being a star, don't worry about making money, worry about nothing, just sit down with your guitar and let it speak to you and that will make your life better. It will bring beauty into your life. It's a great thing to do."     ---- David Crosby

This is a wonderful sentiment, beautifully performed. Is that a real violin?

I caught the hint of peril that is often missing in songs about eternal love – the if. That one word skillfully slipped in there is like a warning label, in fine print, on the bottom of box containing a princess doll.

I try to listen to at least one new song here per day. I went to the Latest Songs jukebox, saw boneonbone and skipped right over the song in the top position. I haven't listened to a lot of your songs, but I remember I liked "Whole Lot of Nothin'". This is quite a different mood. I look forward to hearing more of your versatility.

Beautiful song, well played and sung. Just proves that a song doesn't need some standard rhyme scheme to be effective and enjoyable. Nice work!
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

A beautiful little love song. The guitar sounds great, lovely lyrics and vocals and the violin is a nice touch.

I love that tuning! The guitar tone is very full and rich sounding. Excellent vocal and the David Crosby styled harmony is perfectly sang. Some cool embellishments like the violin or synth?

Great playing and i really like the vocals. It has a nice 70's vibe to it and although it's short it manages to do a lot in just two minutes.

Excellent song! I love the acoustic and piano layers, very lush sound with just a few tracks. Very pastoral feel, I really dig it!

Ah yes, that is so good. It's true there is that 70's feel to this. Damn yeah this is good. Beautiful Vance. For a subject matter such as this (incredibly difficult for me) you did it so well.
