Last post for this year from me. This is from the album "Apocalypse? What Apocalypse?" and is the most played track from that album on Spotify.

Zoltan

Cool bassline, cool guitar playing and that harmonica! So fine!

Ron is one of those rare specimens that have an instantly attention grabbing rock - blues vocal sound. There's just the right amount of grit with a hint of mischievousness to it.

Great timing for the song too! As it's the end of the year and people are balancing their drinks (Whiskey!) in one hand and the blues in the other.

You rock man!  Big time

Some of very favorite rock/blues whatever are bands like Bad Co, Skynard, Zep, etc... you manage to incorporate all those greats into your stuff...

and of all your really good numbers I have heard this is extra good...

I have been banging along to this for about 5 plays now...

this is wood boring bee music... it will drill right through ya

That guitar tone is badass!! Genghis!! And what a growling bass, then the vox come in and good nite Irene. Brought me straight back to the nasty beer soaked bars scattered throughout New England that played nothing but blues. The Old Orchard pier comes to mind, that stuff will be gone forever soon - In Memory of Elizabeth Reed live and played very well, how can something like that happen. Or that shithole in Providence where you open the door and get licked by cigarette smoke and stale PBR, but you might see Johnny Winter there with an audience of about 4! Near a police station where every cop car parked outside had a dent in it. You rank up in that level!

Sorry I ranted but you brought back good memories for me. I fell away from blues a long time ago but I really appreciated this one.

Happy New Year,

Mark

Low-down and gritty blues, Ron. Early ZZ Top vibe. Rocks hard!
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

Another cool blues in the Ron Bowes style I always look forward to hearing! Great guitar work and the gritty vocal fits like a dirty glove (a compliment). A good one to close the year out with!
