It's maybe a bit daring for me to do a Freddie Mercury cover ;D  but I loved the video clip of this song where we see Freddie Mercury with a rocker look (like Elvis Presley, Gene Vincent or Vince Taylor) riding a motorbike with a pretty girl in a garter belt (it doesn't look like a Noel cliché at all!)
A song recorded in 1979, that I didn't know and that I discovered as usual while surfing on You tube (covered by Josh Turner)

I've always liked this Queen song. It was a bit off the normal path for them and Freddie. You did a cool cover of it JP and you've included all the vocal details of the original. Well done on all those tricky backing vocals!

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

Daring is right!

You've added some twists here – not the least of twists is the decision to try this in straight time. It's almost like a science experiment. What happens if you remove the swing from this song? Now we know.

Indeed. According to wikipedia,The song, written in a very rockabilly style and sung in the manner of Elvis Presley, was inspired to Freddie Mercury while he was taking his bath5 in a hotel in Munich, where Queen was recording at Musicland Studios. Once at the studios, where John Deacon and Roger Taylor were, they recorded the song in a few hours.

Je suis dans une petite periode rock/rockabilly après je vais essayer Lay Down Sally  :D  :D  :D

Thanks guys for your comments which I appreciate

Rockabilly is a special genre and this song is not at all in the style of other Freddie Mercury productions

For me in these covers in English with a very fast beat, the biggest difficulty...it is the pronunciation (which must make you smile), my level in English is very weak my knowledge of this language is school and I did not often have the occasion to practise...except during one month of training in a hospital in Kathmandu, in Nepal where all the Nepalese spoke English...but with undoubtedly a "Nepalese" accent then with my "French" accent one managed to understand oneself ;D

Oh yes, another time during my mission in Gaza where I was rooming together with an Australian surgeon and I couldn't understand anything when he was talking to me...but Australians have a very particular accent

so bear with my accent but there are many songs I like that would be unbelievable to sing in French (I can't imagine "two of us" by the Beatles sung in French ;)
