A rather unhortodox version, once again...

This is a lovely instrumental version of Both Sides Now, Alfredo! The jazzy lead guitar solo break is wonderful in tone and phrasing. You have captured the melody flawlessly, just like the pro. that you are, nice!

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

StephenM

yes, it is really superb... very relaxing and wonderful... I see waterfalls of goodness spreading all across the globe as this plays on.... Nice mix... quite pro indeed...  I shake my head sometimes at the quality of stuff on SC and this is right at the top....
it's a really great song and bit of playing... it's convincing.... it belongs everywhere you hear this sort of thing... which should be and sometimes is.... everywhere... and I am so glad...

Nice job.  I didn't at first recognize the title of the song, but immediately did when you started playing the melody.  Great tone on the guitar and excellent construction of the backing track.  And I'm in agreement that the solo interlude is the icing on the cake!

Absolutely wonderful your construction work with BIAB is really very accomplished and the sound of your guitar is magnificent..I'm tired of giving compliments! so I'd say this is all pretty ugly :)
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

ah yes, I particularly like the second part in "improv" on the harmonies of the theme,  Class!

Joni is one of my favorites (check out her version of this on her orchestral album, and I defy you to not shed a tear). This really showcases what a beautiful melody this song has. Love that chorused lead. Reminds me of mid-period Carlton, which proves fitting since he played with her for a spell. Just gorgeous.

A great selection for a song to cover like this! A very pleasant palette of sounds and tastefully done, as usual.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.
