I love the sentiment here. It's not a new sentiment, but it can't be said enough.

I don't know what you meant by that, but it resonates with something that I am trying to teach my kid: You can decide what to do with now, or you can let others decide – and there are many people who want the chance to steal your now – marketers, YouTubers, game developers, people who want to take your time and attention monetize it. But you will never get that time back. So what do you want to do now?

I don't know much about food in England but in the US a food favorite in the past was meatloaf.  Families looked forward to it, meatloaf mondays.....

the reason I said that is if I had not ever heard you, and I heard this, I would think it was a Meatloaf track.  But no, it's the great TS!  wowsers...it's great sir!
