I have a friend on another music site who wrote the song. (Art & Marge Corey)  He asked if Keith and I would do the music.
The premise of the song was to do with People not really knowing their neighbours or knowing what to say.

Always fabulous production/arranging from you two. I always love the Beatle touch that Keith adds to his vocal. Also, I like the theme of the lyrics; we have neighbours who we barely know and the weather is the only thing we talk about LOL. Anyhow, another fantastic track, Darren - well done.

Hahaha, these are so true to life lyrics. I must have used the line "I hope we get have some rain coming" many times while briefly speaking to my neighbors. The music, vocals and production are really good. I especially like all the harmonies and backing vocals that fill the song from start to finish. Well done Darren, Keith and friends!

This was interesting to do music and vocals for someone elses lyrics.  I think this shows a lot of versatility and while the music and vocals do have you and Keith's unique stamp on it, it also is very different for you.  I can almost feel like this is ELO. 
I wonder what your friends thought of your result?

I suppose talking about the weather is better than arguing.

To me this sounds a bit like Sparks. The vocals are less over the top, but there's a hint of Mael(strom) to them. Shout out also to the smooth backing vocals. Wonderful!
