(V1) When I call you on my cell phone
You don't answer, 'cos you're not alone babe
Is this your way of saying goodbye?
Is it really over this time momma?

(Chr) Now I know you've been treating me mean
Is this your way of avoiding a scene?
No conversation, can you explain?
Before we derail this fast-moving train...yeah

(V2) Now I'm listening to your answering machine
It picked up on the second ring
All it said was your first name, "Grace"
I really need to say this to your face

(Chr) Now I know you've been treating me mean
Is this your way of avoiding a scene?
No conversation, can you explain?
Before we derail this fast-moving train...yeah

(solos)

(Outro Verse) Nothing I say will change a thing
I'm not good at hiding my pain
You have no feelings; you have no shame
It' not my fault babe, you're to blame...yeah

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

Love that intro - that riff starts on the up-beat and really throws you out. That is so, so cool.
Great playing and production, as always from your guts - love it. Great singing and guitar fills are super-duper.

Smoking tune, guys - very proggy, with a bit of a Deep Purple vibe to my ears. Super well-produced and all the parts sound perfect!

Everything here is so well done: Guitars, vocals, drums, synth. But the hero of this song is that organ texture in the background, hardly calling attention to itself, like a subtle spice that makes the whole recipe work. You could almost imagine this song without the organ. Don't try it. You wouldn't like it as much.

At least half of my motivation for buying a SY-1 pedal is so I could add a subtle organ pad to my rock songs. This is how it's done.

I didn't hear prog at first. It seemed more like a period piece – from the pre-punk '70's when a lot of popular band were prog curious. (They wanted to show some virtuosity so they could look Steve Howe in the eyes if they ever had the occasion.) But on my third listen, I think I detected a little homage to Rush's "Tom Sawyer" in the chorus – dun-dun da-DANG, dun-dun da-DANG, dun-dun da-DANG.

I hear it now. It's the "pop side of prog," as Blooby would say.

Wow this is a great song. It has 70's rock all over it. The music is top drawer, very professional sounding. those guitars are awesome..everything is so good. really cool riffing. Great vocals and some excellent keyboards too.

Rien a ajouter à ce commentaire de Darren, absolument impressionnant
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Another great track, Farrell. Guitar work is stellar, drum programming is off the planet, that organ playing is stunning and your vocal is the icing on the cake. Production is just so first class man; absolutely brilliant stuff. Always look forward to hearing your latest posts.
