Steve sent me a track about 3 weeks ago and I  just couldn't find a way in for whatever reason. Then I got covid which kept me quiet for about a week.

Today I thought... fuck it. I am gonna get this done as the track Steve sent rocked like a good one.

Ok so... i dug out some unused lyrics that I felt... yes, they work with this.

2 vocal tracks... lead vocal has an echo
2 guitar tracks... both HB Les Paul. One a good crunchy tone and a second running through my new Boss SY 100 which is frighteningly cool with a synth sound.

Enjoy the new Destination Insanity track...

Perform,
Behave,
As expected
Just as you thought
That you should
But it's hard
You can feel it
It's wearing you down
But your still standing
There
For now
Keeping your best side out

Expectations
Hang around your neck
But there's nothing
You can do
To avoid them
Only fail
To achieve
All the dreams you had
As a child
You're keeping
You're keeping
Keeping your best side out

great guitars, excellent orchestration and the text goes well indeed
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Holy Shit Man!

This is a wicked track Mike.  I liked it alot when I sent it to you... but really you took this way way up there.  I feel like a kid in a candy store!
Your vocal work went above and beyond anything I could have imagined.  You did a great job mixing the vocals and lead guitars and the synth guitar into the mix.  I dig it all.  It's hard to think I did anything here.

There is a certain synergy that happens between people.  It is different with different people.  Very cool the whole collab thing.  I cherish each one I have done... and you and I have done many now.  I think it's partly because we resonate toward each others energy (ok, that is weird but it is true I think)....
Colabs make song crafters extra special and I feel fortunate to be part of this "club"... it's exceptional!  Thank you Mike for what you took this too!

the only thing I recall about this is that it is the Casio privia keyboard drums again, Epiphone bass, not sure about guitar I used.

btw, I love your cat in the background of your photo!  also the lead you did at 1:20 reminds me of Mick Jones early work in Foreigner... amazing.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Excellent rocker. Great guitar tone and cool lyrics. Nice collab indeed.
