What an interesting way to frame this topic. Were it just about JFK, I think there might be a disconnect between the music and lyrics, but the addition of playing off the women makes them fit beautifully.

Ray, the piano and the upright bass remind me a bit of Steely Dan's style, and I like that! The guitar solo has it all; from the tone to the style to the performance. I'm sure Jeff Baxter would approve. The image I'm getting from the story is a guy at a local pub, having some of the hair of the dog, while listening to a bar fly ramble on about a worn out, 59-year-old conspiracy theory. Which is a unique way to present the lyrics. A great song and listen that goes well with my morning coffee!

the lyrics are full of amazing, interesting lines.  The guitar work is absolutely stellar.  The rhythm is tight.
