I lived those memories myself. Great melody! Got it stuck in my head now - may have to plagiarize it since it's so catchy. Don't forget "duck and cover" drills. Do they even have Mad magazine anymore?

I did not see this when you originally posted it, and am glad you reposted it.  Awesome song, and simply outsounding playing and sound quality/mixing on this!  I did not digest the lyrics, so no worries from me there!  Just enjoying the music and singing on this.  If the lyrics bother you now, I think you've got a great idea to keep the basic song and redo some lyrics to express current feelings.  Or else make it into a silly love song
