i wrote the words but i found it difficult to write a tune to fit so, i asked my uncle if he would help by writing a tune and then singing it. he was very reluctant at first (he said the lyrics were too soppy for his liking) and i really had to coax him but eventually he capitulated and i think he did a fine job. the song is dedicated to my loving husband.
