Rayon Vert Credits:

Gary Carciello - music idea, guitars, bass, drums programming, mix and master.

Doctor C - Keyboards.

Farrell Jackson - All vocals and lyrics.

About the lyrics - These are a little different from me in that they reference the anguished trap of domestic violence. I was watching a film about the subject and felt the need to write some thoughts down about it.  Enough said.
Sinking Ship (Farrell Jackson © (9-26-22)

(V1) She wonders if...if all this is deserving
It feels unjust...it's so un-nerving

(Chr) It's a one-sided love
With no hope of correction
Although he says he'll change
A relationship, void of direction
It's time to leave this sinking ship...

(V2) All she needs...is a little bit of courage
She can no longer live...without optimism
In these crazy walls...of this loveless prison

(Chr) It's a one-sided love
With no hope of correction
Although he says he'll change
A relationship, void of direction
It's time to leave this sinking ship...

(Guitar and keys solos)

(Chr) It's a one-sided love
With no hope of correction
Although he says he'll change
A relationship, void of direction
It's time to leave this sinking ship...

Love these rockin' tracks you guys post. Everything so tastefully done along with stellar musicianship and a fantastic overall sound. Great vocal, Farrell and that guitar work by Gary is brill. Excellent drum programming too BTW.

If it were a different subject or if I hadnt read the comments I would say THIS KICKS ASS!!!!

But, that may not be appropriate here.

Love those swirly 70s prog keyboards... major stone points...
The guitar goes toward Allmans inhabited by progs....
Your vocals to me go toward Ian Anderson of Tull... never heard that before...
Another smoker... if I was id be lightin up just now...

Getting a Zep feel from the intro riff. Great lead on the intro and on the bridge and great vox from you cuz. Fine Rayon Track. This one is a bit more Uriah Heep/Deep purple. looking forward to getting the new album when it's finished.

Stellar track guys! I love how tight you guys are when you do these, everything fits like a glove. Excellent words on an important subject and I love the solos here (especially the keyboard work)! Great job

Ted

You guys are living my dream! I want to record with my old bandmates in the USA, but only one of them has a clue about how to record what he plays.

Bass and drums on this track are locked-in reminiscent of a style from the 80s that I never got tired of.

Great track!

Another stonkingly great song!  Soaring vocal, Leslie spinning Hammond and tastefully energetic guitars.  I'm still a fan.
