I saw Ray put up an Americana/Western themed track and as I am rather prone to doing tracks of that ilk myself, I thought I would do the same. This is from my earliest album (no longer exists) and I cleaned it up and remixed and mastered. I even re-recorded a couple of parts, but in the main it is still in the original package.

My pistol's fully loaded
My horse is ready to ride
All you desperados
Can run but you can't hide

Sleep with one hand on my pillow
One hand on my gun
Gonna make your wife a widow
Gonna kill your Mother's son
I am the Bounty Hunter
I am the Bounty Hunter

All you outlaws know me
I'm the man who has no name
Killing is my business
Bounty is my game

Sleep with one hand on my pillow
One hand on my gun
Gonna make your wife a widow
Gonna kill your Mother's son
I am the Bounty Hunter
I am the Bounty Hunter

(Bridge)

I am the Bounty Hunter

On the trail of Snakeskin Dan
A name he wore with pride
On account of his white cowboy boots
Made from rattlesnake hide
I tracked him to his hideaway
Where he slept upon his bed
I kicked the door and walked right in
And shot him through the head

Sleep with one hand on my pillow
One hand on my gun
Gonna make your wife a widow
Gonna kill your Mother's son
I am the Bounty Hunter
I am the Bounty Hunter
I am the Bounty Hunter

very cool and rugged track.... an interesting theme that yes, we grew up with on the movies etc.. because it was lived by so many...cool sound effects and slide right out of the gate.

Yeah, this is cool! I can almost smell the horse manure in the intro. There's a big wallop of cowpoke and a hint of weekend warrior to it.

The playing is handled with style, yet it's the vocals that really make the song what it is. Captain Ron has such pipes and instantly recognizable vocal sound that the thing is already in the oven when he opens his grill.

The additional sound samples like bullets flying work well to build the sound picture. The drum beat is groovy and lively yet understated enough not to draw too much attention. The lyrics are in keeping with the theme.

All in all a satistying bounty of a song!

A cool take on the Cowboy/Western/Bounty Hunter theme Ron! The added effects really bring the story to life. The low and high octave voices give a good boost to the chorus vocals. Some good, in the mood, slide playing. I enjoyed it!

Great lyrics here! Excellent vocals too, I love the additional gun sound effect. Very badass song and tight as all hell intrumentally.

Good old wild west tune, Ron. Nice slide guitar playing which creates the right atmosphere of the song.
