"Photograph" is a song by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, written with  with Snow Patrol member Johnny McDaid, who had a piano loop from which the composition developed.  With visually descriptive lyrics, it discusses a long-distance relationship inspired by Sheeran's own experience of being away from his then-girlfriend while he was on tour.

Love is a many splendored thing.
This song is dedicated to all peoples of our world, who needs hope, peace and love.

Heartily dedicated to a woman we dearly love, Happy Birthday Mimi!!!

Vocals by Clarissa, guitar by Rene, recorded in RVA Recording Studio, 16SEP2022.

Wow Rene!  I am loving this a big amount!  Love Clarissa's voice alongside of your guitar strumming.  The music is well supportive of the voice, as is what really matters.  The studio did a fantastic job on the voice imo...
Personally I like your guitar sound better in your live recordings you do...but mixing is a matter of subjective taste so I don't want to make this a negative comment..
it's a stunning track...

one of the things I love about going to open mics is that sometimes I get to hear some extraordinary voices and players... little do they know this is one of the major reasons I love songcrafters...

Don't know the original but I know I prefer this version.

Hi Stephen,
Truly love your comments.
And your solid support is very much appreciated.
I am recording this song the same way and settings as my usual recordings.
The only difference, and could be huge, is that I am significantly away from the 2 microphones that I am using.
I had the 2 microphones directed towards Clarissa's vocals, and I am positioned behind her.
My guitar is still unplugged, and I am happily surprised how good the microphones pick up my guitar.  This could be the reason why the guitar is not as crisp.
Thank you so much Stephen!!!
Respectfully,
Rene

Hi ODH,
You are so awesome.
I am with you, I do prefer this version (I might be biased)
When we recorded, I told Clarissa that I did not want to hear the original recording, but I did listen anyway.
Thank you so much for the great feedback, ODH!!!
Warm regards,
Rene

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
