Ive spent the last week in hospital with Pneumonia and suspected meningitis the head ache was unreal and lasted 5 days before starting to yield to the antibiotics. Here's a song trying to explain the desperate situation I found myself in. I almost feel back to normal although a little scarred by the experience. Thanks for listening
My mind begins to sweat
The pain it starts to roam
It formed into a pin point
in my head it did implode
The thoughts inside my head jumble to fear
I shout out for help I fear no one can hear

My eyes they burn like lasers out from my very soul
Images are etched out and forced out on patrol
They splatter on  the walls and the faces looking in
Is this the end or the beginning

The images are fragments from my torn mind
Painted into dreams just to be thrown aside
The lights burn the retina's from behind my eyes
Is this the way the reaper wants me to ride

I can't take it
I can't take no more
This pain goes on and on
I just can't take any more
Day after day
after day
after day
after day
after day
it eats my mind

Im looking for forgiveness
I'm on my knees I pray
please god take this pain away
I know he can not hear me
I know he doesn't know
Cause if he did he'd surely stop and make it all just go
But I know I'm on my own right now
This pain's aloud
The reaper wants his pound of flesh
I feel I'm going down
I feel like I'm already dead
I feel like I'm already dead
I feel like I'm already dead
I feel like I'm already dead

Sorry to hear of your troubles. You did manage to put your experience into music. The playing alone is so tense! And the lyrics and vocals feel like the walls are falling.

I think you managed to scare the Reaper away with this one :)

Jeez, Trev what a nightmare you've been through! A headache for 5 days? I whinge if I have one for a few hours. This is a very intense track with that frantic guitar work and the expressive vocal. Hope you're feeling better, mate.

Sweet Jesus, that sounds just awful, Trevor. Glad to hear you're feeling better now.

Good to get it out in a song - digging that Bo Diddley beat and distorted vocals (and guitars).

I hate that it took an experience like you had to get this amazing song...but man alive dude you nailed the whole experience that most humans on earth at some point or other in their life endure...so I am quite certain you have to be a great artist to nail the lyrics that way!!!!
Music rocks and borders into 60's new wave psych music... that little bell in there adds to the craziness.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Wow Trevor I'm sorry to hear about your bout with health issues. I'm glad you came out on the good side! This song tells quite a story of your struggles. Well done and well done with getting well!

Damn! I believe every word.

Did you do this in one take – guitar and vocals? It sounds like it.

And the fact that it's unaccompanied by bass, drums, etc. highlights the isolation and desperation.

The intro guitar is simply awesome, I love it.
Your lyrics are visually alive, piercing and deeply chaotic.
You can write and the words are full of feelings.
Your vocals are very believable.Well done.

Wow... first off it's great to hear you sounding so full of life after all you been through. That sounded awful. But yeah, here you sound like a man unleashed. It's a manic pace and a great riff...  a little psychadelic and that little tinkling sound is great in the right speaker, it seems to embody the madness. Brilliant Trevor.
