Thanks Tim for letting me in on your great song.
when i downloaded all the tracks and put them on the DAW i got so excited!  The track has an incredible groove and I love the whole thing... Tim had this incredible harmonica part too and the lyrics and vocals sounded great to me.  I was tempted to redo the drums and bass but in the end I just had fun mixing this and playing producer and added a lead guitar (Jay Turser Strat pawn shop rescue guitar)..

Tim sent 7 tracks and I ended up with 15 from the duplicates... lately I have been adding effect to duplicate tracks, usually panned to add effects to... it seems easier to control and get good results from and leave the words easier to hear.  In this case i used a double organ track from Tim and added a guitar amp to one (they were panned left and right.  Tim's two guitar tracks panned toward left and right.  I tripled the lead vocal and various effects on the panned ones and doubled the bkg vocals and had different effects on them.  The harmonica was doubled, and one I gave some reverb to it and did some panning trickery.

A cool song Tim and a cool mix Stephen! I like the panning and the effects. Tim's harmonica rules when it comes in. Some very fine guitar fills and solo, Stephen. A winner, winner chicken dinner!

I've listened to this a few times now and i'm still loving it. It's a delight. I like the vocals, i like the composition and i like the playing. I also enjoyed the write up from the future studio head Mr. S.

Soon the green trailer will be turned into a travelling roadshow & studio. People will form a queue to see the Jay Turser Strat Pawn Shop Rescue Guitar and Stephens old stetson hat! And if Red Hot Chili Peppers ever want to make a great record again (their latest is kinda lame) they better haul their fancy pants towards Stephens trailer. Mark my words. They're cheap.

Getting back to the topic at hand. This sounds great! Sorry for the lack of quality content in the commentary section. I'm still in pain. But alive and kicking.

I missed hearing your soulful voice Tim! (I've been off for a while too) Excellent vocals with great effects added to them and the lead playing from Steve is awesome as expected, talk about somebody with their own style of playing!

Soulful piece of music!! Great lead guitar addition by Stephen (that effect sounds very good and dynamic, btw)! The harmonica is icing on the cake. Well done fellas!
