A few questions.

Hi, i'm new here, and new to the Micro BR.

I've ordered the BR yesterday and can't wait for it to arrive. I have some questions about recording also

1) Is it possible to get a good recorded distortion eg. (ranging from coheed and cambria, rush, biffy clyro, mainly hard rock songs.) without getting excessive amounts of overclip noise.

2) Will overclipping the BR's input volume damage the BR? if im just testing how loud the output on my amp will affect the sound output on the BR when connected will it damage if it overclips?

thanks and sorry if the questions hard to follow :D

EDIT: 3) also, lets say i record the intro to a song on track one on Day 1. Then the next day i want to record the verse on track 1 also, will recording the verse overwrite the intro or can i carry on from where i left.

Welcome gunjak
1Yes-the guitar effects processor  is quite good and versatile
2-Is the amp output line level-if yes-you should get good results using the line input
3 yes you can record where you left off on any given track

thanks for your reply!

I think i got the answer to my first question when i checked out chugfest from the forum :D.

for my second, what do you mean by line level? do you mean half inch lead? the output is labeled Headphones / Output on my amplifier.

Im not micing up my amp, so i guess you do mean using a guitar lead.

anyway thanks again!

Yes the headphone output should work in the stereo input of the MBR
