Systech Overdrive (70's weirdness)

Inspired by the Ram's Head Big Muff topic i thought to share a childhood "trauma" of sorts

My first ever effects pedal. Bought used in the 80's. The dirt that's on the pedal was there when i got it. It's been stored in a closet for most of the time. I've occasionally tried it again only to find that it's too weird even for me.

When i bought it i didn't even have a decent amp. I wanted a somekind of distortion pedal and this was advertised as having a "very special kind of, but useful" -type of sound. Well, it's certainly special.

I think i'm just about open enough to find some use for it nowadays...
