When this piece started, the beautiful, melodic guitar drew me in. And then it just kept getting better. Throughout, there are instrumental touches that just add to my delight. The way you sing this is so evocative. The story you tell is so close to my story. I was sorry when it ended, but the length is perfect.

Well done. Well done. Well done.

Didn't have time to read the other comments but all I have to say is WOW, what a fine production. Every audio detail presented perfectly. Great song and presentation. Love it!  8)

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

Hi Ray,
Very refreshing guitar playing.
And the lovely memories stay in your own self, nothing you want to change.
I have a lot of beautiful experiences in my old school as well.
This is very nice, especially the guitar solo in the middle.
I love this tune.

Some real good acoustic picking Ray! The lonesome harmonica furthers the melancholy mood of the song. Great vocal and words!

Loving that fingerpicking ...you've got me thinking of my old school too.....I always felt my old school we were made canon fodder for the local brick yards and engineering works it wasn't a place made for for-filling dreams. Most of us ended up in the factories until in later life some of us escaped

Even though I knew I was clicking on an original tune, I still expected the Steely Dan tune. Senility is a bitch.

Lovely job setting a mood with this tune. The mournful harp is stellar.

Superior stuff Ray. This tunes really hits deep. It's true the music alone conjures a real sense or drama and emotion... it does feel like the sound of time! Beautiful guitar playing, but all the other touches complete the picture, Bass, etc. Love it.

I admire the musicianship a lot here.  Your vocals are confident, and comitted, and the guitar sounds fantastic.
