I'm not familiar with the song either, but it's a good one. And you guys did a great rendition. Sung very well, and I like the natural bathroom delay. I'll have to try that. The phasing on the one guitar adds to the light, floating feel of the song. I like how the drums come across on this as well. Great work by both of you.

There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

great job tim and mike,  a great song but you give it a a green flash twist.

re the next jemima' cd, you said a concept album, here is an idea what about an album of covers, but like nick cave and the bad seeds did on kicking against the pricks or every johnny cash cover totally unlike the original.

I have no idea how I missed this one before!!!!!
OMG, Tim.....
Never heard the original, but I don't need to, or want to....
You sing this with so much feel, and emotion, that I feel
like I've just gone through a break-up!
AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME.

Just listened to this again, Tim. Whenever I come back to something that we have done together after a while, it's always fresh and delightful. I get too close when I'm working on a track and I lose objectivity. I can't tell at the time whether the stuff is bad, good or just mediocre.

This is really fabulous and, unusually, I'm happy with what I added. Not that my part was particularly difficult.

It's great Tim. Thanks for the chance to collaborate.

Um, I think I heard her for a second.

But seriously, folks, another great post.  I find it interesting that you said you lacked vocal confidence at one time.  Not only are you frighteningly good, but it seems you exude confidence in your vocal delivery.

FH, you are always a rock.  I have been using your bass tones lately to improve my own (still thick but with definition).

Is that subtle phasing I hear?

I love this song, unlike you i loved the David Gray version, but your one is up there. You have a terrific voice which reminds me of Elvis Costello in some ways. Liking your work very much, maybe i will try a cover of the Gray version and convince you its a good song really  ;)

Nice one, love it.
