I got droopy eyes just from listening to this. I was checking for a doobie, but then i remembered that i'm a square so i just kept on sucking on my morning coffee.

The guitar tone is muted and lacking in high frequencies. Which is in fact THE jazz sound The jazzy drumming works a tread and the slow and even pace for the soloing is what makes this to have a svengali like pull to it.

The sound is so thick that at times i felt like fanning out the air... Only to catch a fly mid-air and feeling like Karate Kid.

So i guess that makes you Mr. Miyagi of jazz!
