Children of the Night (Farrell Jackson © 6-22-22)
(V1) It was 100 degrees at midnight...oh yeah, yeah
The moon was full and shining bright...oh what a sight
So we hopped the fence for a dip in the pool
Laughing and splashing, that was so cool
(Pre Chr) No reason for fears, no reason for tears
(Chr) We were the children of the night
As free as birds in the moonlight
(V2) No one knew what the future would bring... oh no, no, no
We were living our moments in a circus ring...ding a ling a ling
We saw our friends come and go...oh no, no, no, no, no
As the years melted, away like snow...so cold, cold, cold
We ignored the struggles, life would bring
Instead, we chose to party and sing
(Pre Chr) Always on the move, always on the run
(Chr) We were the children of the night
As free as birds in the moonlight
(solos)
(Outro Pre Chr) We followed out mantra, "only the good die young"
We were invincible, rolling with what may come
(Chr) We were the children of the night
As free as birds in the moonlight

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

Nice rocky tune this and solid bass, I'm loving that. Nice lead work too. Vocals fit perfect  and that synth just brings it all together

Great Track
