We need peace and love.
Individually, we need 'em.

In this world, you have to go to war to gain peace, and fight to be able to love.
Very very strange world, we are in.
But, at any rate, we truly need peace and love in our troubled world!!!

This song, I composed, is dedicated to my Grandson, Misiri!!!
All my love to you, and my peace I give you!!!

your song here reminds me that when it's cloudy outside and you can't see the sunshine in fact it's still there.
Also a reminder that I can choose to be part of and involved in the chaos or I can choose a path of peace and love.
a beautiful song Rene.  As per usual I love your playing and singing.

I have to admit that you and Hook inspired me to try something very different for me.  I spent 2 hours a day playing along a very busy pedestrian path for 3 straight days.  I admit that I had to use a chord and lyric book (would like to work on that) but i also added my harmonica in there on a good number as well.
I had several interesting encounters with folks.  One involved a little girl about 12 and her mom.  I was playing a song called "Chain Breaker".   The girl stopped and asked me to play it again as it was one of her favorites.  So i asked her to sing along with me.  Her mom video'd it.  Then she explained she has a guitar and is learning to play so I just encouraged her that way....
anyway, I know these kinds of things make me a better musician.  The fact that you can play so many songs (and Hook) live made me realize I need to go more often in this direction as I tend to build songs from scratch, which is very cool too but in the end i could not play the song if I had to without learning it....

Hi Stephen,
Great to hear your adventure.
Playing out in the way you did is truly sharing the gift of music.
The thing you did with the little girl and her Mom is priceless.
I am sure this girl will remember that scene all her life.
Life is so short.
Like Nike says - "Just Do It"
Do what you love.
I am now singing "live" once a once in our local Senior Center, for an hour.
And I am also being invited to sing in our local Farmer's Market this upcoming weeks.
Love to hear your music ventures.
Thanks for sharing.
