Wow Bluesberry, this is a stunner. Superlative guitar playing, so clean, so well recorded and I didn't hear you put a foot wrong anywhere. Beautiful blues sound. And your vox work so well on this, real blues interpretation. And then the harp, it just gets better.

If this is quick and rough and ready, it's worked really, really well. Love it!

Cheers,

Thank you, as far as the slide guitar is concerned this is the first slide guitar I have ever attempted.  It felt like the song needed some slide, so I re-tuned my old acoustic to Open G, got myself a brass pinky slide and practiced for a couple of days.  It is fairly easy to make some nice sounds, but I have peaked and need to spend a whole lot of practice to get to where the real slide players are at.  I am bitten by the slide guitar bug for sure, I am glad you all liked it.  And I always enjoy hearing compliments on my voice.  Thanks all.

I could listen to this stuff all day.
This is the direction I want to go, your porch description bluesberry, set the scene alright.
I've never had a Guitar teacher, but if I did, it would have to be Blues all the way.

Now it's on my Mbr Pod.

Here is Neil's original folky version.  When he recorded it for "American Stars and Bars 1977)" he left out the third verse.
