On the last song I introduced you to Jay, the male Emvoice One singer.  Now, I introduce you to Lucy and I wrote an uptempo ballad for her pretty voice to sing.  Yeah, I know it still sounds a bit robotic, but it takes practice to perfect the humanization.  I'm working on it.  If anybody's interested in checking out the app you can find more info on https://emvoiceapp.com/

When the words have all been said
and you need to touch me
Hold me closer. Do not rush
We have so much time to linger
When your heart has found my soul
we will be sing one voice
Hold me just as tight as you can
Tight as your arms can hold me now.

We have known each other for so long
Have so much love between us
We have come through so many storms
Weathering all the times together
Charming times you hold my heart
I will always trust you
You have such a way with your touch
Moving me through the clouds of love

When you put your arms around me
a new world is born
streams of love flow whisper so low
of devotion you bring to me

We have reached what so many longed for
through fair and stormy weather
I could not ask for a better love
Clouds of love will hover over
Every time you look my way angels will be smiling
I can follow you with my heart
Leading to the clouds of love

Holding me through the clouds of love

well now this is so fun and cool....but I am a hopeless romantic so the lyrics take me in a totally different direction than the voice does... I am all about experimentation... it is working nicely John...lets face it...we live in a different world now and the music certainly goes in a much different direction...
I think this moves more that way...
still a very lovely musical background that is your typically excellent offering!!!  This track has a "cleanness" to it like a Christoper Cross track might have...
The EM voice works...

Hi John,
This is really terrific work.
Her voice is very. nice, indeed.
The lyrics are so wonderfully crafted, and more importantly, the message os joy and love is truly in the air and is so uplifting!!!
The instruments are perfect, especially the drums and the piano, and I truly love the bass!!!
And most of all, I love the melody!!!
Love this John!

Thanks Steve & Rene! :D
I LOVE Christopher Cross and the comparison to him is an honor (though I could never be half as good.  Wish I had his voice  ;) ).

Always interesting work from you, John. Beautiful chord progressions and stellar bass lines. I love the rhythmic patterns and absolutely excellent orchestration. The vocal works well even if a bit robotic and whoever/whatever Lucy is she has a sweet voice. Personally I like the sound of your voice better but it is a curious phenomenon that most singers (including me) have a particular distaste for their own voices. Your voice sounds great to me and always amazes me how you can sing those wonderful jazzy melodies you write.

Anyhow, excellent song and fantastic arranging; well done.

I agree what we sound like to ourself never quite sounds right in our head but they s works and I love the melody

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Sometimes it takes me a little while to "accept" my own voice in a vocal performance.  Thanks so much for listening and your comment.

Ray, thanks so much, Buddy!
Rene, Thank you for your kind words.
Stephen-Didn't quite know how to take your comment, but I think it's a complement.  Thanks for listening.  You're right that styles of music are changing and with that, the tastes.  I really don't like much of the newer stuff they're producing and peddling but every now and then I hear something good.  My heart is and always will be in the 60s, 70s and 80s.  My music will always reflect that.

I can't get over that app. It freaks me out a bit.

Great tune. A memorable melody. I love those last chords in each verse.

Great production.

I am still freaked out, though.

primarily I was referring to the EM voice things that you are now using...effects and auto correctors are only going to become more and more prevalent... the voice you used here leans that way!  I like the song fine...
