The dream seems to be over, the character is now older, wiser and still regretting not being famous.
The final part of the story..? Probably lol. Thanks for listening. Darren and Keith.

RESTLESS Pt.3 (The End)

I hope you followed my story...I hope you felt some glory...
Doesn't everybody dream?
And now the clock is ticking...I cannot stop them from digging...
Where they've buried all my dreams
Doesn't everybody dream? (x2)

I had a moment in time to show you...You turned your back upon me...
Didn't anybody care about my dreams?
.................................
(CHORUS)
When I was young and hairy...I guess I looked quite scary
It was the height of fashion...to play guitar with passion
And all the girls came flocking...to see a boy quite shocking
I had 'em by the first bar...I got 'em by the short and curlies...
...................................
And now I sit here all alone...there is no answer on my phone...
Didn't anybody care?
The guy in the suit was lying...but I just had to keep on trying...
Didn't anybody hear me scream?
Doesn't everybody dream? (x4)

CHORUS (x2)

Huh...doesn't everybody dream?

StephenM

starts like an epic Asia track... with Geoff Downes doing his wizardry keyboard tricks....
then this morphs into an almost Beatleesque track.... then into Jeff Lynne and ELO...
I guess what i am trying to say is this is an outstanding track... wonderful work...listened to that last one at least 10 times and will this too... great work men..

This has been a great trilogy, Darren and a very interesting subject matter. Production skills are top notch as always and the creativity is stellar with brilliant arranging and of course, great vox from Keith.

Beautifully done lads, this has some really interesting different sections and they work really well together, like something Queen would have tried (different style but you know what I mean). Lovely singing (getting a little Mark Bolan vibe?). I also love the concept, the lyrics in the upbeat chorus had me smiling.

I am only the 3rd comment... this deserves more.

Hi Darren,
Lovely guitar work on this song.  Reminds me of Led Zeppelin.
The final part of the story, is that we did try, and we can still dream, YES!!!!!!!
Love this song, and especially the story!!!
Thanks for sharing this!
