Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Thanks a ton Mike.... great work... some will take it the wrong way.  I was trying to see it from a 15 year old males perspective being attracted to a mature looking 12 year old he's highly attracted to.... not so odd really.... however in this case he happens to be of Royalty and his parents are able to secure her for him by a deal with an all too willing mother with her own issues.  The girl gives a surprised reaction to her mom and mom essentially warns her she must go along with it.... and then later asks a question about her life... then theres the angle of other outcomes...
Its a difficult subject... likely worse in the past... now its harder to get way with it with all the papparazzi

this is totally fiction...not based on anyone... it's coincidental that a Prince Andrew of the UK was in the news recently for various trangressions...well documented.
this is a view from someone of like ilk, anywhere in a powerful family position as a young man and how one might start down a path like this.  The song is not an indictment on anyone, family or country... it's an observable thing that happens in circles of power (and lower classes too for that matter, someone in a low class standing can have power over a weaker someone).

Mike did a great job on the music and all the mixing.  The only involvement here was the vocals and adding the auto tune and other effects on the 3 vocal tracks, and lyrics....  I thought very hard about completely changing the lyrics to something else... after a while however I realized this is a story that needs to be told, fiction yes, but all too true really...
You've been caste into a system, no choice of your own.  It's been caste for generations.  Mom, Prince Andrew touched me again.  Be quiet dear.  The royalty pays our way.  Everyone has a purpose  You gotta use the tools you have dear.  If Andrew doesn't fondle you, someone else will (and they can't pay the bills, they won't pay the bills).
Is it a blessing or a curse mom, to be given something desirable?  You know the look, the figure, the way I look in my school blouse.  He touched me in my privacy.  Such a delight to the aristocracy.  A bit like a danish pastry.

Is this my lot in life?  To be a woodshed aristocrat whore?  Don't I get to decide my fate, my outcome?  Shush dear, you know Madeline disappeared. You know she disappeared.  No one knows what happens, well someone does.  But no one will admit it and they don't have to be accountable.   Hidden sexual lives of the royalty.  Taken lessons from the popacy.  Can't you see man?  The unholy see will crucify thee?  Don't you dare stand up against the bastards.  You'll be buried in concrete somewhere. You'll be on display.  Can we find another way?  Are you willing to pay the price?  Of a bloody revolution?  Or will you continue to put up with the pollution?  You'll be taking a crap, they'll make it look like a suicide.

Frigging love the angry sound of this! Your guitar work is stellar with all those crazy, jangled-up chords and Stephen's lyrics totally match up with the vibe. Grimey stuff... I dig it!

Mike & Steve you're becoming the alternative to alternative! Wicked cool stuff and great production. Bonkers lyrics and playing. There's lot to digest in this one. The beats are a blast, the guitar playing jangled up perfection and the vocal performance is both unhinged and at times gentle (!).

WOW! Controlled madness musically that works so well. Certainly a controversial subject but not offensive IMO; such things happen regrettably, especially in regards to people in privileged positions.

Those guitars and bass sound absolutely wild and somehow the chaos of the backer suits the subject matter. Great work, guys.

Oh man this is great..it's like nirvana / REM track merged together. Love the music Mike, those guitar melodies are just great. And the guitar sounds, love the infectious bass line too.
Stephens vocals are always great. And I like the lyrics, it didn't offend me, a delicate situation but you're telling the truth there.
