Had to pay attention to make this my 10,000 post but here it is. It also is my absolute dumbest song ever.
The show is Nurse Smokey & The Bandit. You might remember Burt Reynolds& Jackie Gleason in 1977s Smokey & The Bandit, well The Bandit did alright for himself over the years and has ended up in a high dollar Assisted Living Facility...plotting, scheming & generally causing chaos amongst the geriatric. Never fear though, Nurse Smokey is gonna reign him in. Starring Burt Reynolds & Joan Cusack as Nurse Smokey.
Kala Archtop Uke, Roland Handsonic 10, Ibanez A/E bass, Ovation Applause a/e guitar/ HB Tenor Banjo, Vangoa Mandolin.
1 uke/vocal(stereo)
1 snare drum (stereo)
1 bass drum
1 cymbals
1 shaker/wood block
1 bass
1 guitar
1 banjo
1 mandolin
2 harmony vocals

In the 70s everybody loved the Bandit
and Smokey seem to chase him all across the USA
every now and then smokey  almost caught the Bandit
but that crazy Trans Am driving motherfuker always got away

Now he's old he's really f****** old
and he can't remember God damn thing
but he listens to his Jerry Reed records makes him smile and sing
and he drives a scooter really fast in the hallways
he's like a crazy monkey jumping on a bed
one day nurse smokey's gonna catch him and give him his meds

Oh, i'm hoping there were spin-off series too :) Super cool!

And if you're taking requests then perhaps there was a Deliverance tv-series also!

This is inspired and hilarious. As the song ends, I imagine a fade in to nursing home sitcom set; a couple of guys playing checkers, Nurse Smokey walks by anxiously, foreshadowing chaos.

Digression: I had an Ovation Applause guitar – kind of shitty, kind of great. Fretboard and frets were cast aluminum. I took it to Cameroon with me in 1991. Several Cameroonian guitarist friends asked me if I would leave it behind, but I was too attached to it, so I said no. I returned to the USA a couple of years later. When I tuned it up for the first time since getting back, the bridge ripped out of the soundboard, leaving a huge hole. Made me feel greedy for not leaving it in Cameroon. Even if the same thing had happened to someone there, they would have found a way to fix it or salvage the neck. That neck would still be bolted onto a piece of plywood or something to this day, still making music. I threw it in the trash.
