TV show submission.  that never existed... but it did...but it doesn't... but it could.  but it won't I don't think.
I was asked by two different TV shows to do a theme song.  One was for the Roller Derby Resurgence that is occurring and the other was for a reality TV show about retired people wasting their time trying to live out past dreams.  So the two shows were competing for the same song but the parties ended up bidding so high that neither show could come into existence but still had to pay for the rights to the song... and the winning bidder is.....
CAUTION: POTENTIALLY OFFENSIVE AND INFLAMMATORY LYRICS.
The music came together quick on Sunday afternoon.  Started with the bass.  I had wanted to get the BR1600 out and use the guitar sounds again.  So I started with a bass track and used the drums on board the BR...the bass had the first setting going down from the guitars... it was so cool I couldn't stop playing it... so 5 minutes later...
then I got out the Jay Turser strat and found a bunch of settings... so this is 1 bass... 1 canned drum.... 3 guitar tracks...from the BR and mixed off the BR and sent analog over to the Zoom L-20 stereo... then i added vocals...which I did and redid and redid and redid...and decided I wasn't going to use then after a couple IPAs i decided it was just too good...
for anyone who might be offended.... understand this... the era I grew up in this was it... Roller Derby was real...and all the use of ladies for whatever was real...and so this is a story about that...
I also need to add that this was such a big file I had to lower the quality a good bit to make it fit...bummer.

You suck!

And i'm only saying this because i think i blew your cover! You're Les Claypool from Primus :D

No one would do anything like this except Claypool. Wicked riffing! My greetings to Wynona!

I think this was a 90's era tv show. There's that instantly recognizable alternative vibe to it.

For those who don't know the "suck" thing:

I'm only halfway through listening to this and I have to pause it. It sounds really good just on my Android tablet puny ass speaker. Will listen to the whole thing again later with headphones. And I already know I'm going to share this with a close friend of mine who was part of that world for a while.

Came back with headphones. Oh yeah! The louder the better.

It's like a long lost Korn track! I really dig the thrasher, industrial kind of sound you got here. The bass playing is badass here too, absolutely love that tone!

Ray Brookes

We're never sure what to expect next from you, Stephen but it's always gonna be great. I agree with young Mr. Berry about that industrial thrasher sound that drives this along like a crazy machine. An absolutely mental and brilliant track.

Utter madness. In a good and satisfying way! Nice grinding filth.

Hi Stephen,
Vocals is excellent.
Instrumentation is perfectly laid, and the mix is great!!!
Always love the guitar work.

I think Frank Zappa would've hired you for some ideas back in his day.
