I have been playing around with some guitar pieces for a while that I recorded sitting on the front porch with Zoom R24 using the onboard stereo mics.  Finger picking and strumming.    1 stereo Hummingbird Acoustic guitar track.  The bass and the rest are 4 casio keyboard parts.
mixed on the Zoom L-20.  Readied in Audacity.  Mastered with Landr.

That is one beautiful piece of music, Stephen. The acoustic guitar sounds heavenly and the subtle keyboard work compliments the whole track perfectly. Great job; well done.

I really like this Stephen - to me it's a very cinematic piece. Can imagine it in a film scene, the day after some apocalyptic event, the lone survivor wandering around the battlefield or his burned-down village. Fantastic !

Nice, dark vibes coming from this. The array of keys add a lot of atmosphere, I particularly like the lone bass and cymbal hits here and there. The acoustic guitar is calming, there's something about fingerpicking acoustic... there's nothing quite like it. Very fine indeed

Nice panoramic instrument panning spread as well. Makes for a "surrounded" element to the journey. Good stuff!  8)

HI Stephen, Truly, a very peaceful music, amidst the storms of life in a lot of folks.
You are a very good musical composer, I can be at peace with your music.
I love the guitar, I am biased towards the acoustic guitar!
Thanks for sharing your talent.

This is evocative sounding. You're clearly getting lost in the melodies and conjuring strong images with your playing and the way you're building the sound picture.
There's hope, there's light, and there's also a hint of mystery. At times it sounds like there's a swamp near the trailer, but i think it's just a bog.

A good one!

Fantastic instrumental Stephen, which could also be used for a tv theme tune. I love the synths and flutey  bits. Great.
I have 2 profiles on this site, (NOW COMBINED INTO ONE PROFILE PAGE)
