Restless Dreamer ( Part 1) by The Devil's Toupee

I wanted to do a song about a fictional character who dreams of fame as a musician ( you know, like we all do  ) but never gets anywhere. We've decided to do a trilogy of songs on the idea. So this is Restless dreamer Part 1.

Myself and Keith are fans of Pink Floyd so i thought it would be fun to try and do it in a similar style...so it's about 7 minutes long and has a lot of guitars and synth stuff too going on.

( The mix could have been better i'm afraid..has some EQ noise in places)

Hey, did you get Sting to sing the "a good day " part... damn the vocals here are powerful.
Love the whole vibe here... the guitar work and the drums are captivating.

As Nelson says - hats off to you guys. Amazing vocal from Keith and an excellent Floyd vibe. Great instrumentation and good idea for the lyrical content. That last chord at the end sounds so sinister.

Wow, what a vocal! Definitely has a Roger Waters feel to it, this track is like something off a more psychedelic version of The Wall. The guitars are outstanding too and I frankly hearing nothing wrong with the mix. Such a layered sound you have here, great stuff!

Markus, our 17 year old says on the way to school today... "what's this?  Like 7 minutes long".... I looked at him grinning because it had played all the way to school, 25 minutes...lol... I think he thought it was awesome... if he can't stand it he says so... poor kid, always subjected to what I like...
