Can I sing of spring time?  Can I sing about the lilacs?  The green grass and blue, blue sky?  The lazy white clouds floating by?  The Yellow field lillies (not what they're called).  Buzzing bee's gather nectar for us all.  A sweet kiss in the afternoon sun.

Hummingbird string sing to me.  Hummingbird spring sing to me.  Hummingbird strings I'll sing of thee.

Warms my soul, breeze in my face.  Reminds me I'm not in a race.  To embrace the delights of nature's face.

Singing praises dawn to dark.  The moon's horizon brings an owl to my porch.  Oh my, there's joy in the sky.  I reach for it, reach real high.

Hummingbird string sing to me.  Hummingbird spring sing to me.  Hummingbird strings I'll sing of thee.

two for tuesday.  I got a Epiphone Hummingbird and it sounds so sweet.  This was inspired by it and spring which is in full blossom in NC here.  Besides the Epi there is the epi Les Paul lead, Shecter bass, Alesis Nitro drum kit20220419_091236_resized.jpg

Hi Stephen,
Is this a Neil Young tribute.
Sounds like Neil.
Very well done.
I love the guitar background.

That's a beauty of a guitar - congrats!

I dug this. It's got a bit of the NY vibe, but also some cosmic quality I can't quite put my finger on.

I agree, a sublime Neil Young vibe going there. I'm hearing some Grateful Dead in the music as well. Nice work! 8)

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

Im liking this song and your vocals are spot on. I can hear the Neil Young influence but it has that whole America 60's vibe. Very Canned Heat

Nice!!

Yes definitely Neil Young influenced but thats a cool thing to me.loving that trippy guitar too.
My friend,s main giging guitar is the very same Epiphone humming bird he loves his too.

Its a lovely guitar Stephen and a great song. It does sound like a Neil young song, just as good as one of his for sure.
Excellent performance and had that warm, airy spring feel to it.

That's a cool guitar! Everything here sounds good, and as soon as the vocals appear the song goes straight into Stephen goes into Neil territory. Or at least the overall vibe - sound is similar. For all we know we might be closer to the situation where we should say Uncle Young sounds like the flower child Moore.

There's a lot of happiness to be had here. It has such a hippie vibe going for it that it's borderline psychedelic fest material. You have to be experienced and / or too happy to write lyrics like these!

A beautiful Epi Hummingbird and it sounds very good. Oh yeah, I also hear the Neil Young references being made about your vocals here...nice! Man you landed right on my musical base with this one Stephen....the 60's free love and flower children. That music scene lives on with this song!
