an out-of-focus polaroid
the way she used to be
twirling batons in the fall-out zone
completely out her tree

nothing lasts forever in this hall of mirrors life
the twisted, warped reflection of mankind

this x-ray, looking-inward girl
with a heart like a hive of bees
twirling batons in the twilight
in a rhodedendron dream

loving the guitar sounds.  There is a ton of stuff in there... This has 70's pop rock shine all over it.  I think I missed this on the radio back then!  superb recording.
interesting lyrics.

A cool song for the psychedelic Fest Tim. The Garageband keys sound really good. Oh, here comes the Epi Casino solo...love it all!

Hi Greeny,
I love "the twisted, warped reflection of mankind".
You are a poet, Sir, and love your sound as well.
Very nice melody, and very good recording, excellent vocals.
Of course, love the guitar solo.
Thanks for sharing.

Quality stuff again as expected coming from Mr. Greeny!

I've been drawing influences from everyone here, and a few days ago i accidentally found a sound + a chord progression that was pure Greeny. It's was there for a while and then vanished into a thin air.

I can hear the varied influences in this song. Yet there's once again thatspecial blend going on... Starting from the choice of notes, chord progressions, vocal sound and even the way he hangs his glasses.

A cool song that uses weird imaginery with strong melodic hooks. A special shout out goes for the harmony vocals!

It's been the same the whole time I've been on songcrafters - quality and quantity, consistently. It baffles me.  I remember years ago pondering whether you had songs in a holding pattern in your head, like A320's over Staines, waiting for the call to land.

Always quality songs from you, Tim. Great abstract lyrics and stellar production along with great vocal performance.
