Hell or High Water (Farrell Jackson © 3-27-22)
(V1) I'd cross any line to feel your love.
I will do anything I need to do.
I would give all I have...To hold you once again.
A thousand miles, keeps us apart.
I'll find a way to merge our hearts
Faith will guide me, through dangerous lands
Our story is destined, it's written in the sands...of time.
(Chr) Come hell or high water...I will make it happen
Come hell or high water...I'll be with you again
You're the only one for me...From sea to shining sea
(V2) Times are hard, Times are rough
Love keeps us strong, alone that's enough
To see our light burns, brighter than bright
It's in our cards to have a better life...
(Solos – Guitar and keys)
(Chr) Come hell or high water...I will make it happen
Come hell or high water...I'll be with you again
I would give all I have...To hold you once again
A thousand miles, keeps us apart
I'll find a way to merge our hearts
Faith will guide me, through dangerous lands
Our story is destined, it's written in the sands...of time.
(outro) Come hell or high water...come hell or high water...come hell or high water

another stunner!  so much greatness in here.... big guitar sounds, keyboards...cutting drums...bass is good, but left me wanting a bit more (as in volume , but I get it, we all think different on that)....so the song is full of fantastic guitar work..
and of course the vocals and lyrics are great....
as they used to say on the Ed Sullivan show "Wunerful, wunerful!"

Hi Farrell,
Great guitar intro, and the vocals is excellent.
The lyrics are outstanding, "written in the sands of time".
The whole production is professionally executed.
Great guitar solo!!!

Nelson

Nice groove draws you in from note 1.
Love your strong vocals and the harmonies sprinkled through out. Remind me a bit of
Clearance Clearwater.
The break at 2:15 is outstanding.

Hats off 2 U & your cohorts.

yesterday, after hearing this I decided to use your juke box as my music for my workout on the eliptical.... it's one song after the next of superior stuff...
if you were whisky it would be top shelf stuff.
A Lexus of musics

I am sure it helps too that you work with some fantastic musicians...so that is an applause to all...

but I need to continue that path some more...

Great arrangement and song! I like contrasts between 'silent' and ' rock' spots. Nice proggy twists and turns!

You're pro musicians everyone. Excellent work!

Yes classic proggy rock at it's  best, cool piece of writing, loving the lead guitars and the solo on the keys.

You guys make it seem so effortless. Sheer quality and class! That chorus is definitely a classic rock FM station driving song. Shades of Bob Seger, but more sophisticated and with a big slab of prog. That keyboard-led middle section is a stunner. Fantastic work.
