I thought I'd try again with Jack Pearson, a Nashville guitarist, who fronts his own band.  He also served a two-year stint or so in the Allman Brothers.  He is equally at home playing a swampy blues, scorching "Whipping Post," or playing straight jazz.  The following is a video from the Gibson guitar site.
