more psych madness.  I am kind of on a crazy roll so I am going to roll with it....

this is a story about the new developments in artificial hallucinogenics (which is an actual thing, and some of this song is factual)...

thank you all for bearing with me but I did not pick the psychedelic fest for a reason... I knew what would happen.
Analog LSD.... Artificially induced hallucinations.  We must be close to heaven where angels dwell at obtuse angles in rainbow pyramid glow.
No bad trips here.  The computer controls the flow, of how your mind goes.  Dope me up....dopamine up...increase the IV drip....
wow man...far out... I see swirly patterns of paisley creatures dancing off strings of popsicle stick  puppet controls.  Oh wait, that is just watching humanity through a TV screen.
My anethesiologist is showing me my ultimate microdose.  Now it's all happy endings without the Gisha's bending.
Weird is normal.  Normal is weird.  How about a dozen alfalfa sprouted donuts with a tofu pastry top?
Maple syrup is so outdated.  We are eating essence of rubber trees... come and taste.  Come and see.. Peyote is yesterday's coyote.

one last thing... I have no idea how I came up with the name

"some people say they've become temporarily paralyzed after eating certain "magic" mushrooms — an unproven risk that Oregon officials are taking seriously as the state becomes the first to legalize psilocybin, the psychedelic ingredient in magic mushrooms, for therapeutic use early next year.

"I couldn't even chew. I had to scrape a chip back out of my mouth with my hand," one user who experienced so-called wood-lovers paralysis, and asked to withhold their identity, told Insider.

Bob, another regular magic-mushroom user who asked to omit his last name because of the illegality of psilocybin in most places, told Insider he'd experienced wood-lovers paralysis three times."

Hi Stephen,
This is really "far out".
Cool.

Hook

It's almost as if your trapped in the Piper At The Gates Of Dawn album and can't find your way out.

This track was getting buried and started to stink. Those "far out" lines reminded me of Fritz the Cat!

There's this movie from the early 70's called Blood Freak. It's probably the only pro-Christian, anti-drug, swinging killer turkey monster, vietnam vet biker in love gore movie ever made! The movie is a mess (you should watch it!), but there's this FABULOUS public service announcement at the end. The producer wanted to warn people of the dangers of drugs, and speak about healthy living. All the while puffing a cigarette and coughing his lungs out. And this isn't meant as a joke! You can't buy entertainment like this for a dollar (or maybe you can ;)).

I think this just about sums this song.

For curious minds the movie can be found here: https://archive.org/details/BloodFreak1972. The public service announcement comes after the movie.

Zoltan...thanks for the interesting comments... I have seen that guy before and I bet I have seen the movie growing up in a community of essentially vegetarian, hippy, live off the land, naturalist Seventh Day Adventist Christians and various off shoot movements from them (David Koresh not being amongst them)...
I only tell this because it gives a glimpse into my perceptions and my realities based on various environmental time frames of my life.
Then I spent 20 years in the Navy plying the ocean depths in various submarines... wonder why I am a bit "out there?"
most of the folks that I have met along my path have been decent folk, good intentions etc.  Everywhere I have traveled and so many I have met, colorful and interesting people.  My first wife was a Mennonite girl who grew up on a farm, essentially subsistence farmers.  They were a really splendid family.  Her and I both saw in each other and in the Navy a way of escape from those lives.  I did not realize that at the time.
Today though I would say I have merged all the various forms of lifestyles I have come across.  My current lady and daughter are vegans (to the max, yesterday my wife was eating peanut butter spread on raw squash!).  To find my self fitting into all the various kinds of personalities and lifestyles that I choose to live part of, to be myself, and to allow others the same freedom has been an interesting challenge.
I suppose this song, and probably others I have done is a bit of poking fun at all the various forms of lifestyles that exist or are coming into existence and attempting to write about my view of their merging.
lol.. I figure this might clarify things about me for those who might be (or not be) interested...
This is a fun site and lots of interesting characters... music and recording being the unifying thread.  I am fortunate to have found it and to meet people like ya'll (since I live in the south)

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

I'm with Hook on this one. The only way to describe this is far out man!
