It's very likely that this one will sound completely new to most of you, but I can guarantee that everybody in Italy knows "Parole Parole" ("Words, words"), as sung  in 1972 by the greatest Italian female pop singer of all times: Mina.  (Max can confirm...)

This time the guitar is a BIG Washburn J6.

Enjoy!

Hello Alfredo,
I'm glad to see you back on the guitar ..and the sound of this washburn is perfect for jazzy

..and you do so well the backtrack with BIAB

...ah!...Paroles paroles...Dalida en France "caramel, bonbons et chocolat ..."
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Alf and JP, I confirm that this site is a great place, and you can hear such a variety of music !
I confirm also that in Italy everyone knows it, but I think abroad also, cause if any, this was an Italian international success (well deserved) for a really wonderful melody (and considering that the original song is half spoken LoL). I have to check, but I'm quite sure the TV saturday shows of the 70s could count on a classy - and now quite forgotten - team of composers/lyricists (kinda american's Tin Pan Alley). IT exists also a Japanese verion LoL, I'd be curious of that.
Thanks Alf for bringing back this one, with such a beautiful playing

Thanks Jean Pierre e Max.

I couldn't imagine there were so many covers. It's funny that there were even Vietnamese, Flemish and Adzerbajan versions, but no English version at all, LoL  :)

I don't know the song but I know good music when I hear it and this is good music. The Washburn sounds so clear, full and jazzy. Great picking Alfredo!

Well it is new to me, but the spirit of great jazzy melodic tunes is not so this really is a great late night listen for me. I have a small glass of whiskey as I sit alone in the corner with my headphones on so all is good :) Really pro stuff Alfredo. Beautiful lines on the guitar and the sound is so natural. This is a download to my Songcrafter folder so thank you also.

you can call me anything you like.  Just don't call me late for dinner

I'm definitely familiar with this melody, and love this kind of breezy jazz. It always sounds like the soundtrack of cool 60's films to me. This is so beautifully performed and arranged. Totally dreamy. Molto bella.

Smooth jazzy greatness  and that is how it played
