Love your vocal cover.

going back over the festival tunes and had to comment again on this one.... someone mentioned the Elton golden era... and that is true but that guy was on the charts for decades....but this is the era I loved the most of his stuff.
I was staying with a friend and he had the Yellow Brick Road album and at night it would play over and over (8 track actually kept looping)....
all those great songs etched in my memory as long as my brain works...

super recording here Tim.  what really adds so much to this is that quiet string or voice key that goes into an accordion sort of sound.  wow...that is super.  Your vocals though are star...

Have played this live a lot in the past, but never tried to record it 'properly'. So this is me trying to record it 'properly' on the MBR, lol.

12 string acoustic, bass, vocals, plus GB drums, piano* & synths.

*Being lazy because this is the only song I can play a bit on actual piano.

The piano is great.
The vocals is exquisite, you are a great singer, and an artist!!!
Very nice rendition of this classic!
Well done.

This is one of those songs you've got to be really daring and bold to pull off, but of course you've done it brilliantly!  Impressive that you've got the piano part down too; I probably would have looked for a midi file rather than going through the painful process of learning it as a non piano player... As usual it is amazing you pulled this off using the tiny silver box (though I see you've migrated to GB drums).  By the way, although I don't use it anymore, I have my tiny silver box in a drawer.  If yours ever dies, let me know and I'll send you mine for free - I want to be continue to be amazed by what you are inspired to do with it!
