:) wooo, that's a stunner...

I'm with Wiley - amazed how it's come out. Never done any remote collaborating before, and it was quite satisfying doing Big Dog originally. But this is another experience altogether.

I didn't know what to expect at all after I'd delivered the bass/reso track to 48, but this really wasn't what I was playing along with in my head when I was doing my bit!! :D  ;D

I actually had quite a bit of trouble redoing the resos for what I was imagining would be a guitar solo in a Peter Green sort of fashion - in fact, I've even got a version somewhere with me soloing p90s over it to get the reso mix right.

But never in my wildest dreams was this vibe where I thought it was heading! It's a lot smokier and loads more spontaneous sounding than I was expecting.

And it really does sound like the four of us were in the same room...

New experience for me - many thanks Wiley/Greeny/48 :)

Good contributions by all and good job of playing together.
Great collab!

Andy, the collaborating bug will get you. I felt the same way when I first joined here. I was fairly self-contained, then ORH collaborated unexpectedly on one of my tracks and it just took me in a whole new direction. Now I'm joining in with stuff I wouldn't have dreamed I would be doing before I came on here.

This is a really great collaboration and I am really impressed by the way it turned out. A great combination of skills and it really gives a different take on the original. And it does sound like you are in the same room!

Cheers,

Nigel

Great collaboration on this, you all did a fantastic job.

It's no secret I'm not a bluesman, don't listen to much blues myself, and have never attempted to play blues.  That said, I can spot a damned good song a mile away, and this is just that!  What a supergroup of a collaboration!

Wiley, the bassline is about as smooth as it gets!  The slide guitars are fantastic!  The main non-slide lead guitar present in the intro, middle break, and end is stunning!  I am guessing that was you, 48?  The vox are perfect!

I have been thoroughly WOW'ed, everyone!  Fantastic work!!! ;D

Andy R that was a lot of fun. We need to try another one.  I have yet to post my version of this since I can play some now.  Maybe this weekend.  Thanks
I loved your slide playing.

Well I finally re-located and re-acquainted myself with this corker amid the cthonic maelstrom of talented out-pourings found hereabouts (this is why I'm taking my time with this thread, once you start listening, you may never want to leave!). It's the latest download to my BR-Comm-MP3 folder (I have about a dozen now), somehow, I don't think it's gonna be the last. An excellent piece of collaboration, well done to ALL.

(BTW - If anyone locates 48, ask him did my PM get through, or has he taken the huff about something?  Explain that SteveB is a Newbie and has either pressed the wrong button, or said the wrong thing. Here's hopefully, SB).
