Everyone who knows me could guess that a Psychedelic fest would bring me running  :)

This is a style I've been evolving into for a long time - psychedelic English folk.

Shitloads of guitar - a mixture of amp & pedals + MBR patches, vocals, bass & GB some old drum loop. All played on my Hofner Verythin. Univibe, Fuzz, Chorus, Transparent Overdrives etc.

Recorded and mixed on the MBR plus some Shakespeare Midsummer Night's Dream dialogue at the end added in Audacity.

bring the harvest in
then let the ale flow
I can hear the seeds grow
in the ground below
the clouds get snagged on steeples
anno domini
plague doctors in the city
as they pile the bodies high

well well well
well well well
dandelions for the queen
well well well
well well well
the queen of nowhere and her king

sacrificial oxen
for the goddess of the soil
plough the fields and scatter
you worthless sons of toil
the fancy clothes of finery
elude us to the end
we're cursed by incantations
to just make do and mend

well well well
well well well
dandelions for the queen
well well well
well well well
the queen of nowhere and her king

Well I figured you would be all over this fest and what a great way to start it off  I was liking everything about this and the ending dialogue fit in perfect

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

I was wondering where you was at :)

This pretty cool - it kinda dragged me in.

I love the title, but I wasn't really in the mood for the music when I hit play (just finished work for the week) ... but it kinda washed over and soothed me.
By the end I was sucked in and wanted to hit play again.

On a second listen now - LOVE that rhythm guitar that starts it. That's actually what I wasn't in the mood for, but it kind of snuck up on me and did the soothing.

Love that chorus. And those other guitars.

OK, where's me patchouli oil!! ;D

Tim, this is perfect for the Psychedelic Fest! You nailed the psychedelic vibe easily with the words, melody and all the instrumentation. It's very dreamy and takes me back to the daze of water & oil overhead projectors, blacklights, and lava lamps. Thanks for the ride!

Fantastic. The lyrical imagery is incredible considering the very few words.
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different

Great Psychedelic Greeny Friday...

Some of the lyrics reminded me of the harvest festival scene in 'The Wicker Man', and there's a trance-like quality to the guitars that drags me right in. And the bit from 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' was a nice finishing touch.

Loved it!

I too was wondering where you've been hiding. Great psychedelic track, Tim; those wishy-washy guitars work so well for this genre and fantastic imagery in those lyrics. Excellent vocal work too - welcome back!

It's another fantastic psychadelic buffet!  there is so much going on everywhere and so many tasty things swirling, whirling, maddening greatness of guitars, bass, and vocals...
loved that other voice in there too...and that crazy guitar panning left to right at the end... it's like the ghost of Hendrix
