So I was gonna sit down and write a song about how angry I am about a certain guy who is making lots of people die and then I thought, no, How about something brainless and fun.  So I sat down and riffed on my guitar and this rather fluffy low fi thing, which I think has some cool riffage in it, came out.

Vocally this is me wishing I was Bono or John Hiatt, or both. Also it represents more build up and fade out, and a longer arrangement than I normally do at something over 4 minutes.  Hope it doesn't bore anybody.  So yay me.  I went through a 60 second song phase in 2021. I'm tryna come back to somewhere more middly, like 3-4 minutes, if the song is worth it and something interesting sounding or something more to say. This song has absolutely nothing to say, other than "Vroom Vroom".

This is my second Bitwig track and it has no synths in it, just bass, guitar, and drum.  The drums are a standard preset from Groove Agent and this bass loop, while tasty, is something that came in Bitwig, while I wish I could play like that bass guy with that pocket and those harmonics, Yeah NO. I can't play bass that well.

guitar and bass alone are worth the listen...  cool stuff and the little vocal tidbits along the way are interesting.  Then wtf?  it sounds like a horn but its a voice!
cool...
this could be a late add to the numbers fest...as you do count ... love your willingness to experiment and then share...

I think a 3-4 minute song is just right really, but I enjoyed this so much it could have been even longer. It's a great instrumental track. Love the electronic type drums and the guitars sound awesome. It does have a kind of 90's U2 sound. Like the fx on the vocals too.

I have 2 profiles on this site, (NOW COMBINED INTO ONE PROFILE PAGE)
One is a musical partnership with Keith Allen, ( we record songs as "The Devil's Toupee").
The 2nd one is for my other musical projects and collaborations. (DarrenG)
Thanks for listening.

The vocals are actually run through a VST guitar amp cranked up to eleven, one of those double-preamped insane bogner/slo type ones, by Ugritone.

Cool pastiche of sounds. That bass loop caught my ear right off, and it works really well against those distant guitars. Cool post.

Works real well for me too. Experimentation, but you've painted a great picture here with some great sounds. Especially loved those smatterings of wild vocals. Cool stuff.

Super cool groove on this. I certainly can hear a bit of 90's U2 in there as well. The distorted vocals really tie this track together and it totally has that organic live jam feel to it. Spacey stuff!

Hi WC,
Very nice beats, and the guitar is so cool.
I can hang and listen to this music for quite a while.
Very captivating music, and the vocals is very cool!
You made this very interesting.
Thanks for sharing.
