I like it, it has a happy beat, and a sweet, sad, bittersweet quality.

Most unexpected and delightful bit is the harmonized space choir repeating the "I might be part".

the music has a great fun swagger to it with loads of interesting embellishments!!!!

but the lyrics are really fun here for me...line after interesting line... another download and one I'll enjoy over time!

This is such a good song Ray! The distant backing vox (I might be) work so well at making the chorus a real standout. Great songwriting and performing!

A touch of jazz(iness) with a lot of class. The backing vocal idea is brilliant. The melodies are once again strong. It's a Ray trademark as are the likeable character vocals. The lyrics hit home and all in all this is a smooth ride. The piano playing near the end was also a nice touch and had a flicker of quirkyness to them.

Lovely track Ray, most enjoyable. I think it's so hard to write quality happy, feelgood songs, but you have penned another beauty here. Loads of great lines in there too.

What a pleasant song - just been watching the news (terrible times) then sat down with a glass of wine and this really cheered me up. Great lyrics and a vibe that takes me back to younger happy times. A great post !
