Same as Cuthbert, I dig both mixes for different reasons.

I do love the vibe of the original.
But the Flash Harry Mix gives me the vocal (as a vocalist myself) that I was reaching for the other day.

I did wonder, when I first commented, that just turning the vocal up would disturb the balance of the overall vibe, and that's why you mixed it like you did?

So, I want BOTH mixes, each for different moods ;D

I was listening to both mixes in the car. I much prefer Mike's mix, the bass is great but the thing for me is I can hear much better two layered and heavily treated guitar parts much better. In my mix they are drowned out by the synths and almost sound as if they are part of the synths. The two separate guitar tracks I used a cascade guitar effect on one and a resonator effect on the other, both effects come preinstalled in GarageBand. Cheers Mike.

Great song for a late night listen on the headphones. I like both mixes but Mike's did bring out your vocal. I thonk I've probably said it before but I often hear a bit of Peter Gabriel in your vocals. It's a large file to upload - did you have to reduce the quality when you converted to mp3? I've had that problem with my last two songs as the mp3 files were too big to upload.

yes due to the length of the song I had to reduce the mp3 nitrate quite considerably, my origianal mix was over 12mb.

If your mp3 files are too big to attach to your message, consider hosting them offsite and using our [singlemp3][/singlemp3] tags in your message to play the external mp3 file.

You can upload files of any size to alonetone, for example. And today, I found a way to use mp3 files hosted at OneDrive with our mp3 player. If you don't already have a OneDrive account, you can sign up for a free account with 5GB of storage.

See the detailed instructions for OneDrive and alonetone on the following Help page:

As usual, my instructions seem more complicated at first glance than they really are. But after you've followed the procedure once or twice, you'll find that it's quite easy.

Awww 64G, I love your instructions, always so clear and full of the info required (btw, I'm a "Technical Author" in the "real world", so I'm always reading them with and "editorial" sort of eye... ;D)

The remix is superb - a big improvement in clarity and atmosphere. It's trademark ORH though - a beautiful balance between airy ambience and infectious hooks. It works as a longer track because it's trying to put me into a hypnotic trance. Lovely jubbly.
