Michel (Godinqc) gave me permission to play and sing on his great song.  I don't think I made it better but I had fun doing this.  I really dig this style of music and just wanted to see if I could sing it decent.  I recorded the vocals at least 3 times and redid them because I was off too much.  I think this probably is the best I can do.  I also added some bass, drums, and guitar which it did not need but it was fun.
Thanks so much for letting me in on this Michel...  not sure why but it makes me think of the Cranberries

Great work Steve, as mentioned I really like this version.  Very good vocals and adding the additional instruments gives the song another life. You really came up with a great version, yes I agree there seems to be a Cranberries vibe to it ..
I've listened to it a couple of times already and really enjoying it ;D

Beautiful track guys, it has such a mellow and laid back feel. The guitarwork is as top notch as always from GQC, with great touching lyrics as well. The drumming is rock solid Stephen and those vocals are perfect for the track. I love the little bass fills thrown in there too!

The collaborations I've done have been some of the most musically satisfying musical ventures I've done here. Because of this, it's an extra treat to hear others do the same. Makes me lean in a bit more perhaps. Can't wait for the next met from some members.

I'm not hip too much to The Cranberries (other than "Linger"), but I'm digging the collaboration here. This track has a bit of an epic quality that speaks to me.

Great collaboration! Strong memorable melodies. And it's nice to hear Stephen stretching his vocal chops in this direction also.

I don't know the original, but this sounds great. To me, it has a Prog rock feel, which is my favorite music style. I think you did a great job on the vocals and lyrics.

On my second listen.
After the first listen, I went straight to listen to godinqc's original.
Loved that... and came back

Third listen now.  It all works really well.
At first I wondered (compared to original) about addition of drums, and also "where's the gorgeous acoustic?"

But, no, it's ALL there, and the drums just take it somewhere else (I can hear Cranberries too).

Excellent stuff guys.
