FREYER

Here you are
Nice to meet you
We've waited oh so long for you to appear

In the darkest light
Burning embers
Waiting, hoping for our saviour

With darkness dread and dreary
In the absence of the light
We'd build a stone walled temple
For you to arrive

In the darkness of the night
In the great mound where he lies
She weeps for him, prays for him
Waiting for the sign

Gear used: DOD Carcosa (LEFT CH), Bonetender (RIGHT CH) both into Humboldt Simplifier (Marshall setting) + Fender Mustang guitar.

Oh, and what about the lyrics? Glad you asked! I had real trouble finding anything to sing about and this sounded a bit "pagan" to my ears... Caveman guitars and all. So i googled about Norse mythology and found Freyer.

Edit: Uploaded the latest version and removed the others. I'm not sure if this is the best mix ever, but it is what it is.

What do medieval people say when they meet their long-awaited god? NICE to meet you! :D

wish I could just whip out some vocals like this.  not much if anything I would do with this.  I bloody love this one...to borrow a phrase from some others I've read.
the song is great.  maybe could use a lead but otherwise it is some heavy cranking rock.... cool lyrics.

Cool riffs and lead guitar additions! Nice rock song that sounds more than a demo to my ear! Well done, Zoltan.

Cool rocker, live the vibe on this.
It goes straight for the jugular as soon as the door opens.
Kind of like a vamped up all along the watch tower.
Cool.

I have been listening to this more than a few times... it rattles my bones and my teeth...  the new version I cannot say I like better but I download it as well so I have two versions of same song.  That is not a bad thing.  That first version is bone rattling.  this one I had to turn up a little more.  Like the keyboard stuff though...
If I heard this one first maybe it would have been it.  It's like when bands play live sometimes they change it up a bit....cool ending...with that guitar.

Good tune. I like groove and guitar tones. Vocals are really good. The. bass seemed a little thin but I was wearing earbuds.

Grabs you right from the opening led riff. I love the ruckus of the first version, almost reminiscent of something off of Stooges' Raw Power LP. The lead vocal and lyrics feel a bit ominous, I definitely get the "paganish" influence. Punk/hard rock for the Norsemen!  :)
