Swings along nicely,  Stephen; the movement in the bass and the ninth chords (?) certainly give a nod to the Police. Production is first class and I like the panning in the mix - great separation of the instruments.

lol Tony.  That line about Fred the horse first appeared in my song Running 40 Days and in that song my horse Fred was nearly dead.  At the end of this one I had run out of words on paper and was ad libbing and that kind of popped in my head.  I really like to do weird stuff.  it's fun to stand at the mic and see what might come out.  I really like improv too.... thanks for noticing.

Ray, I am not sure the name of those chords.  I know some guitar terminology and usually can figure out where I am on the neck as far as notes etc but when it comes to the off chords I know nothing.  Lately I have been finding things on the fretboard that sound interesting to me and after screwing around with it for up to an hour I'll try and record something.  I see why it's important to actually know something about structure because when you are playing with others it makes it easier for everyone.  Thanks for asking.  I need to investigate and the other thing is I generally can't remember what I did.  I have to go back and learn them over...lol

A crazy trip here Steve, one that really works! Loving the bass playing and the fabulous sound, the rhythm section really holds the groove nice and tight. And then there's a bunch of inspired lunacy on top which is real fun to listen to, there's so much going on that there's a lot to pick out and enjoy with each listen. Mad lyrics, but really fun. Very nicely produced as well.

Why is Elton John on drums?
Wait a minute ... It's Elvin Jones (I had to Google him). ;D
It's quite trippy this. Love the drums too.
