This is gorgeous.

It sounded a little like a Dan Hicks song. You just needed some wisened women to do some call and response.

Great playing, great vibe and I loved the alliteration in the last verse.

Great song, Ray - it sounds as if it would have sat well in the Seventies Country crossover charts. And jazz, as previously noted. Lots of swing, and wisdom.
