Hi everyone, first time out with GarageBand, got a secondhand MacBook a wee while ago.
Used my Zoom r24 as a interface, the guitars are my little parlour acoustic and Ibanez bass got some guitar effects and synth sounds on GarageBand.
The vocals where recorded with behringer c1.
I was in Dubai at Christmas, me and the mrs where visiting her son, he couldn't get home due to the virus and work. not my favourite place in the world but big cities aren't my thing, anyway I've been a few times and don't think Ive spoken to anyone who really comes from there oh maybe the guys at passport control.
Everyone seems to be there for work or going somewhere else, never had a problem, maybe it's me and big cities.

I get the vibe SE.  I don't like too big of cities anymore or the crazy travel either.  I've been to Dubai about 10 years ago.  My son was a pilot there.  I enjoyed the trip but I totally understand what you say about the workers there.  Pretty much most people work there, and there are a few citizens that you really don't talk to much or even see for that matter.  My favorite thing was driving out the sand dunes, where there was no one!

Great song.  Love the vocals and the lyrics.  Sounds like the R24 worked good as an interface.

I so want to live in a high-rise, in a bustling city. ..probably won't happen...unless my sands shift. I dig this brother, well done.
Rock on!

Groovy track man! I love GarageBand for the drums, so easy to arrange and with great sound. I've been using GarageBand more now to start recording song as the BR1200 is getting pretty full.
I love the upfront vocal here, it's got that total Lou Reed swagger. Perfect runtime as well. Great fun

Very cool idea for a song and it has come together very well. I too think the new setup is working well and this is an excellent track, great lyric and really well performed.

To me, sort of a minimalist vibe - it works well with the prominent vocals. The theme ties it all together. Fine song! 8)
